More than 600 meters long of fine and white sand, makes this beach unforgettable. Nestled between two cliffs, this amazing beach is declared a NATURAL MONUMENT due to the ecological value of its dune and lagoon and formations, as well as the existence of protected plant species such as the sea worms and the marine narcissus. It is included in the Oscos – Eo Biosphere Reserve.
The rock in the center is called Piedra Castelo, its nice to walk inside when the tide is low.
The beach has lifeguards and showers, and two funny chiringuitos full of pinchos. (chiringuitos are just open during summer months ). You can find excellent bollo preñao, tortilla de patata pincho and meat sandwich.
The waves are perfect for surf therefore the right side of the beach is only for surfers leaving the left side the swimming side.
